H2OPS Q&A

Q:

Where can I find your product?

A:

Here is a list of retailers that stock H2OPS sparkling hop water.

Q:

  Do you sell online?

A:

You can purchase H2OPS online through Hi-Time Wine Cellars.

Q:

  What is H2OPS “hop water”?

A:

Hop water is the simple combination of hops and water. H2OPS sparkling hop water is brewed like a beer except we only use hops. We add hops in the kettle and also generously dry hop for flavor and aroma. There are no yeasts, sugars or grains used in the process so it has zero alcohol and zero calories.

Q:

  What hops do you use?

A:

We use a blend of aroma hops from the Northwest such as Citra, Simcoe, Centennial and Amarillo, but we are always evaluating new varieties and blends. We go for aroma and flavor, not bitterness.

Q:

  What’s the idea behind this?

A:

We believe that the amazing flavor from hops should be enjoyed on more occasions.

Q:

  Is H2OPS carbonated?

A:

Yes. Its lightly carbonated at similar levels to beer, which is much less than other sparkling and seltzer waters.

Q:

  Is H2OPS gluten free?

A:

Yes. We only brew with hops-no grains, so it's gluten free.

Q:

  Is H2OPS pasteurized?

A:

Yes. We use a special pasteurization method to ensure safety and quality.

Q:

  How do you pronounce H2OPS?

A:

You can spell it out or shorten it and just say H2OPS with the 2 being silent.

Q:

How do you properly serve H2OPS?

A:

H2OPS should be served like an ale or pilsner beer. Chilled, but never with ice. Ideally H2OPS should be poured into a glass to release the complex aromas to your nose. Suggested serving glass styles include pilsner glassware or American and Imperial pint glassware. We also enjoy drinking H2OPS out of tulip glassware. Learn more about glassware pairings.
